May a great person has taken education in night-school ``on earn & learn`` motto in spite of many obstacles in achieving these goals have obtained remarkable position in India.The struggle-aspect of such achievements was hardly brought before the world through the media of entertainment.
With this sole purpose in mind,The producer of the picture,Mr.Nitin Mawani,under tha banner of ``Vanmali Films``has taken important steps to produce Marathi movie named ``NIGHT SCHOOL``This was intented to project the efforts being made by needy strata of the societyin takingeducation in night-school on silver screen.
Mr.Mangesh Pawar,the director of many successful pictures & T.V serials has taken great efforts in
highliting the real picture through reel.It`s a source of inspiration for those strugglers who are deprived of getting basic (preliminary) education due to odd circumstances.These schools are idols for them.Director has depicted the grim of picture of those who in spite of getting proper education have to go through hard phase.
Anna Phadtare,a social worker,conducts one Night-school named `Shivaji Night School.`The said school was established sixty years before with the noble aim/purpose of impurting good education in Night-school for those earning in day0time.But with the passage of time,the various factors such as,the slum area surrounding the school,the threat given under the guise of re-development of the area,the evil plan to grab the school building by the builders,the indifferent attitude by surrounding people,the financial & other strange difficulties like on Govt.level which directly/indirectly affects & thus brings adverse results.
Sandeep Kulkarni,the actor with his impressive acting & always in search of off-beat roles is playing the leading role ,a character called Deshpande Sir.He is supported by Prasad Pandit,Srikant Yadav,Deepali Chaphekar,Raju Govilkar,Ashit Ambekar,raju Mawani,Shivraj Walvekar,Anvay Bendre & forty students from night school.The cinematography is done by Prakash Shinde.The editing is done by Paresh Manjerekar.The songs are written by Mansingh Pawar,Babru Bhosle who has also given music.The songs are sung by Suresh Wadkar & Swaroop Bhalvankar.
If the challange given by Anna to Deshpande sir will be accepted & fulfilled or not,whether the result of the school comes to 100 % or not,all these issues are projectd.There are sudden twist & turns in the story.So be a part of this unique NIGHT-SCHOOL where admission will be started from 2nd November all over Maharashtra.
