If sources are to be believed, ANAS Films helmed by Mr. Mansoor Ahmed Siddiqui is all set to make a comeback with the remake of the original blockbuster movie ‘Saajan Chale Sasural’. The movie which is titled ‘Saajan Chale Sasural 2’ will see the dream debut of superstar Dev Anand’s grandson Rishi Anand in the lead role. The original film which had Govinda, Karishma Kapoor and Tabu in the lead roles will now see a completely new star cast. South Indian Actress Sonal Monteiro will be essaying the character of ‘Pooja’ which was earlier played by Karishma Kapoor. Bollywood Actress Ishita Raj who has been seen in films like ‘Pyaar Ka Punchnama’, ‘Pyaar Ka Punchnama 2’ and ‘Sonu Ki Titu Ki Sweety’ will be stepping in to Tabu’s shoes. This movie will also see actors like Chunkey Pandey, Arya Babbar, Hemant Pandey in important roles. While ‘Saajan Chale Sasural’ was directed by David Dhawan, it still needs to be seen as to who will be wearing the Director’s hat for ‘Saajan Chale Sasural 2’. Let’s hope that this latest entry in to the category of franchises sets the cash registers ringing and gifts another family entertainer to the Bollywood audience.This film is produced by Mansoor Ahmed Siddiqui & Honey Chaudhary of Take Three Production Mumbai.
