Ace designer Archana Kochhar launched her new collection “Bridal Diaries” at Mrs. Bharat Icon Pageant. Presented by Royal Heritage Group "Mrs. Bharat Icon" Pageant is a tribute to the Mrs. of every family. Contestants looked stunning in Archana’s new bridal collection. Acclaimed Celebrities including Ankita Bhargav, Ishita Dutta, Giaa Manesk, Shibani Kashyap amongst others also walked for Designer Archana Kochhar for a special “Women of Substance” round, motivating the contestants.
“It has been a pleasure meeting these 31 contestants and styling them for the grand finale of Mrs. Bharat Icon pageant. With this event we were successful in placing an example in front of many that just because a female is married, she still has the right to fulfill her dreams. She can conquer the world if she wishes to. Every participant we had with us were already confident and an achiever in their own way as they have been successful home-makers, apart from being a career woman. It was lovely to see their journey from Kitchen to Ramp”, shared Designer Archana Kochhar.
Designer Archana Kochhar’s collection, “Bridal Diary” draws its inspiration from the enchanted episodes of a bride’s journey through her marriage. A bride’s glee and rouge makes her reminisce each and every moment in her enchanted diary. The collection is a fuse of Indian bridal contemporary silhouettes. The silhouettes ranged from floor length anarkalis, cape lehengas, asymmetrical jacket lehengas, keyhole gowns and straight kurta with palazzos. The color palette of the collection are of three division, primarily being the soft pallets of pastel, peach offset with plump maroon with a hint of gold to complete the essence of an Indian wedding.
