Mumbai, 27th September, 2012: ‘Discover Indulgence’ a one-of-a kind ice-cream
workshop turned out to be a an enriching gourmet affair with food aficionado
and celebrity food blogger Maria Goretti and Häagen-Dazs chef Anthony David, as
both of them recreated the magic of iconic Häagen-Dazs ice-creams. At the
workshop, Maria and Chef Anthony enthralled dessert enthusiasts and ice cream
connoisseurs with the delectable creations made with super premium Häagen-Dazs
ice-creams.
They
brought alive some of the signature Häagen-Dazs creations inspired by the
succulent European desserts, recently introduced on the menu-Taste the World.
Creations were specially crafted to replicate the perfectly smooth and creamy
texture of the fantastic Häagen-Dazs creations such as Cup Cakes,
Semi-freddos and Banana Split. A step-by-step procedure ranging from
assembling various ingredients, refrigeration, finishing of the product to
presentation was demonstrated to the ice-cream loving audience.
Elaborating
on Discover Indulgence, Maria Goretti said “I love Häagen-Dazs
ice-creams and I have always been in awe of the exquisite creations that it
offers. It is interesting to see the innovation and expertise it brings forth.
I thoroughly enjoyed recreating Semi-freddo’s and cup cakes today since they
are amongst my favorite creations. I am truly delighted to be a part of the
Häagen-Dazs journey and it is a privilege to share my knowledge and experience
with other dessert enthusiast from this wonderful city.”
