A
film is the screen where a team, a team creating a story, building it up,
manufacturing and packing it up with the final touch-up comes out alive. Story which
becomes, first a set of frames, and then gradually into a film stock and later
into our very portable CDs and DVDs and lastly called as ‘the movie’ is the
breakthrough from reality to a place of absolute imagination. The movie of a
traditional 2 hours is the big picture, but the birth of it comes through ‘Short
films’.
Mumbai
International Short Film Festival (MISFF) 2012, is that platform to every
dreaming film-maker to come and bring forth a piece of their talent in front of
the “big people”. A two-day film festival, being attended by noted film makers
and doers of the big picture and an amazing audience of over 2000 people. Set
over a platform, not only for Indian films but worldwide as well, MISFF gives a
