He is a passionate young man who loves Priyamvada to a fault and is heartbroken when she gets married to someone else, but he is unwilling to let go of her memories. As he suffers in his pain and torment, he also puts others through a lot of suffering too. He becomes aggrressive, temperamental and throws major tantrums.However, he has a strong set of values in place. On meeting Gauri, he never takes advantage of her. Despite her ' disreputable' background, he is the first person to give Gauri and her mother utmost dignity and respect. In doing so, he earns Gauri's lifelong gratitude and gradually she also falls in love with him.Will she nurse his wounds and heel his pain.
