“Roshani Zindagi Mein”

An under water musical thriller to cater maximum number of Eye Donation pledges for Guinness World Record.

Our mission has been started from 13th May, 2010 with their first pledge for eye donation by Hon Shree Ganesh Naik (Guardian Miinister Thane Dist.)
To create global awareness and revolution about Eye Donation, Viraag is going to sing non stop under water with closed eyes without food & sleep. This musical thriller will continue until at least 2 lakh eyes get pledged. The objective of singing non stop under water with closed eyes is to spread awareness about eye
donation in the world. The event is scheduled in the month of October 2010 at Andheri Sports Stadium. Seminars will be conducted in the colleges, hospitals, old age home, organizations, clubs of Mumbai. Certificate will be awarded to all the donors.
This is an international event targeting to come into Guinness World Record as well. The Guinness adjudicators will personally monitor the ongoings of the event. The existing record of Organ Donation in GWR is 241 by U.K in the event of 8 hours. Agreement for this attempt with GWR has been signed a way back in June 2008.
The non stop singing will take place with the help of headset in a glass cabin of (9’height x 7’width x 7’ length) completely filled with water. The singing will be comprised of filmy & non filmy songs of different languages like Hindi, English, Marathi, Punjabi etc. Auditions for the dance troupes will be conducted all over Maharashtra. Music album “Roshani… Zindagi Mein” is slated to be released. The theme of the video will revolve around the issue of blindness.

This event truly has the potential and magnitude to embark new heights in the field of singing and humanity thus bring in hope of vision to many lives & eventually will add a feather in the cap of India,
The event is supported by Indian Medical Association (IMA), National Integrated Medical Association (NIMA), Maharashtra Homeo Doctor’s Association (MHDA), Navi Mumbai Raigarh Ophthalmic Association, Eye Bank co-ordination & Research Centre (EBCRC), Lions Club International Dist 323A2, Rotary Club Dist 3140.

The journey of Viraag in Mumbai started way back in 1998 with his first event for National Association for blind in the golden memories of Mr. Gulshan Kumar in the presence of Mr. Kishan Kumar.
Earlier, Viraag has successfully attempted for Worlds Longest Solo Singing for Six days & Six nights of non-stop singing without food & sleep for GWR in 2008, where in he has sung 1652 number of songs.
In Jully 2009 Viraag’s Artist Club has successfully entered into GWR for Worlds Longest Karaoke Marathon by Multiple Participants for 555 hour 5 mins, 5 Sec. in the presence of Mr. Adam Wide & broke the record of China.
